Asia Student Workshop on Image Science (ASW) is one of the student exchange programs proposed and carried out by Chiba University. This program is supported by Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) offering their scholarship. Chiba University (CU) and Asian Universities (AUs) exchange their students for 1-12 months based on the purpose and plan to network on Image Science. This scholarship (JASSO scholarship) provided by JASSO is available for qualified international students accepted by Japanese universities/institutes under the student exchange agreement on a short-term basis. There are two type programs in ASW, depending on organization level, which are carried out between department to department (D2D) and between laboratory to laboratory (L2L).
Because of the Covid-19, the alternative online academic exchange programs (D2D and L2L) will be held this March.
